Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland I didn't have much exposure to the arts. I stumbled into the art world as a first generation college student who naively chose photography as a major because it sounded cool. While pursuing my bachelors degree in fine art photography I fell in love with the creative process of art making. By serving in various student leadership roles during college I discovered the field of higher education administration. During my Sophomore year I curbed my goal of becoming a New York based fashion photographer to pursue higher education administration as a career.

After graduation I started Varied Vizions Imagery, a Maryland based photography and design company that focused on portraiture, family, and wedding related photography. My first job after undergrad was at an art college. Eventually I realized that I could merge my passion for art and education and turn it into a career. For the past 8 years I have maintained Varied Vizions Imagery part-time at varying levels while working various administrative and education related jobs.

I am excited about creating more conceptual and fine art based works again at this stage in my artistic career as well as sharing all of  the other things I love such as style,  cooking, and sharing life lessons. And although I am not a fashion photographer professionally, I couldn't imagine my career being any different.
