Growing up in Baltimore, I didn't have much exposure to the arts. I stumbled into the art world as a first generation college student who naively chose photography as my major. While pursuing my bachelors degree in photography at Towson University 08’, I fell in love with the creative process of art making. Through various student leadership rolesb(i.e. orientation leader, resident assistant) I discovered the field of higher education administration and student affairs and started to seriously consider it as a career.

After graduation I started Varied Vizions Imagery, a photography and design company while working at a local art and design college. Eventually I realized that I could merge my passion for art and education into a passionate career I received my Master Of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from New York University in 2012 and have served in various career development and student advising roles at art colleges an universities, schools , museums and non-profit organizations

I am currently based in LA where I serve as a college administrator at CalArts while persuing my art practice in poetry and creative marketing.
