Black By Popular Demand

Over the past few years I have accumulated quite the jewelry collection. The majority of my  collection consists of necklaces, statement necklaces to be exact.

I began exploring with jewelry because I felt like I had mastered my refined and structured style but  I needed some more pizazz. I wanted to wear jewelry that looked like art and sparked the attention of others just as a painting does on the wall of a museum . (Did I just call myself art?)

I found this silver multi-link body chain necklace at a thrift store during a trip to Philadelphia .  I was attracted to the necklace due to its dramatic and intricate design. I paired the necklace with a black t-shirt , grey biker jeans , my signature shawl collar tuxedo jacket and I rounded the look out with my adidas all stars to keep it effortless.

The black t-shirt serves as the perfect backdrop so that the details of the necklace could stand out in all its multi-linked glory. The thing I love about statement jewelry is its ability to be the main star of the outfit.

How do you rock your statement jewelry?

In Love, Peace, And Style,

Lonnie
